Had a blast today!

I need to do "environmental portraits" for my newest photo assignment, so I asked my friend Jennifer Rasmusson to pose for me with her paintings and I also took a few while she was working! It was so much fun. I will post some as soon as I can!
I am also painting with food coloring for my drawing class, what more can a girl ask for? I will post some images of that as well soon!

New family photos

We had a little "fun" while we were visiting Mike. Okay, I really wanted a new family picture and I forced everyone else to participate. No one died from it, so I think it turned out okay!

Family Pictures

 My little brother recently returned from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He went to India, so he brought us all back beautiful clothing. What fun to try  and figure it all out! The only part of the family missing is my sister Lydia and her clan, she is about to have her second set of twins, so she did not make it. Just thought I would share a few of my favorite images!

 I have had so many assignments lately that I have no time to blog! Here are a few of my favorites that didn't make the cut for my classes!

Tonight's Harvest

Went out to the garden tonight to get a few tomatoes for my lunch tomorrow, came in with a whole lot more. 13 green bell peppers, 4 purple bell peppers, 10 jalapeños, and at least a pound of grape tomatoes.

So excited to fill my freezer with veggies from my own garden, now here is the question, can I chop and freeze jalapeños?

Sunflowers

So, everywhere I go I am seeing sunflowers! Unfortunately for weeks I have been too busy when the light was good to stop! Finally, Thursday morning I had my chance! Just thought I would share a few of my favorites!

Finally starting a Blog!

The world must be coming to an end! I have talked about starting a blog for the last few years, but never taken to time to set one up. It is finally time to bite the bullet and just do it!

I don't promise daily blogging, especially since I am going back to school this fall, but I will try to be consistent!
