I have been busily preparing a portfolio to submit to the Illustration department at BYU according to the directions I was given in the fall of 2011. Turns out the department has gone to an online submission form and has taken the number of images to be submitted down to 10. So, now I have a bunch of extra stuff. I guess it is better to be over prepared!
Anyhow, I decided to post a bunch of them here. This comes with a warning however: THERE ARE NUDES INCLUDED! If that is a problem for you please do not click on the "read more." Instead click over to our family blog http://eclecticelkins.blogspot.com/ to see a few of the non-nudes there.

First session in a while...
This pregnancy has been really hard on the business! Between that and school last semester there has been very little time for photography.
Last weekend we finally took Ray and Cyane on a little train ride to celebrate their engagement. We are so excited for them! Thought I would share a smattering of my favorite images...
M came along as my personal pack mule! I am so lucky to have such great kids!
Their wedding day approaches quickly! Hope the baby gets here before!

Been a While...
I am really embarrassed to see how long it has been since I posted to my blog. About as long as it has been since I wrote in my journal I suppose.
However, life is good! I am about halfway through my University education, but I am going to have to cut back to part time. We found out in August that I am pregnant with our third child. After a ten year gap I will admit it was a little surprising, and even now we are still trying to picture the reality of having an infant in our lives again, but we are thrilled! I am so happy that the Lord has seen fit to give us one more, even when we had given up hope.
Mike's health is better than it has been for the last few years. He would like it to be perfect, but I am grateful for the amazing blessing of having him still healthy and providing for our family.
The kids are growing like weeds, and we are so pleased with the people they are becoming. C started Junior High this year and is doing very well. M is in 4th grade and working really hard to make it a great year.
I am so grateful for all of the amazing things going on in our world! Hope you are in the midst of a beautiful Christmas season! Love to you all!

Pondering
So I have been pondering lately about how to get everything done. Life is still crazy around here with full time school for me, Mike not feeling well and being half moved and organized. I really wish my days were a little less full sometimes so I could just catch-up.
That being said, we are extremely blessed with great opportunities. I am thankful for all of the love that surrounds us!
We are still here, the business is open, but running slower with school. Hopefully next semester will be a little easier!
I have not taken a lot of pictures lately. But these two make me smile!
